Troy has been committed to the Health and Safety field since 2019 and launched his career with PMEL in 2023. He is currently pursuing his National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) certification through the Saskatchewan Construction Safety Association. He is also a certified Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) through the Stuart Hunt & Associates program. Troy’s expertise encompasses the development and revision of safety management programs for both above ground and underground construction environments, including various mining operations across Saskatchewan. He has effectively managed multiple Certificate of Recognition (COR) programs and has played a key role in maintaining International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standards, contributing to enhanced quality, consistency, safety, and efficiency within diverse companies. His skills include addressing complex health and safety issues and interpreting The Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, 2020. Providing guidance, mentorship, and supporting employees in developing health and safety awareness and strong safety culture. Outside of his professional life, Troy enjoys spending time at the lake, playing fastball during the summer, and engaging in occasional snowmobile rides in the winter.
