Kelly is a senior geotechnical engineer with P. Machibroda Engineering Ltd. and an exceptional mentor to the junior team members. He has 25 years of experience conducting geotechnical engineering investigations in the prairie provinces and most of that has been with PMEL. His areas of interest include both shallow and deep foundation design, slope stability analysis and geotechnical site characterization using our owned and operated cone penetration testing (CPTu) equipment. Other areas of interest include shared foundation design (i.e., piled rafts) for heavily loaded grain storage facilities along with our high strain dynamic pile testing equipment (PDA) purchased in 2015.
